Brief:

As part of Copper’s flagship London office, various digital installations were commissioned to complement the architecture. Comprising three floor-to-ceiling canvases – a corner screen, an ultra wide screen and split screen – the brief was to create ambient experiences to display throughout the working day.

Concept:

Through digital asset tokenization, Copper builds the technology that underpins the new financial world.

Dynamic, 24-hour scenes were rendered in real-time creating unique, ambient environments for staff and visitors. These global scenes corresponded with local time zones and seasons, providing custom environments throughout the year.

Furthermore, juxtaposing natural landscapes with an underlying technical sweep reflected Copper’s unseen digital infrastructure.

As part of an intentional decision to move away from the built-environment, the four chosen Copper landscapes represented landmarks from the organisation's global offices in the UK, US, Switzerland and Singapore.

Our world is dynamic, comprising twenty-four unique hours. As the installation is experienced over prolonged periods, using a real-time engine provides the most engaging outcome.

The sweeping lines appearing throughout the day reflect Copper’s underlying digital infrastructure — without losing a sense of ambiance.
